The paper focuses on the development of an innovative approach to creating sensors for analysing the degree of water contamination.
The main feature is the directed formation of an active microbial biofilm on the electrode, which significantly simplifies and miniaturises the analysis process. This approach opens up new prospects for developing compact and convenient water analysers, bringing them closer to the level of drugstore glucometers with test strips.
