On July 17, 2025, MLC and the Russian Diabetes Association signed the Memorandum of Understanding aimed at improving the quality of life for people with diabetes in Russia through the introduction of innovative technology.
This long-awaited development was the result of active negotiations between Grigoriy Alekseev, Chief Development Officer for Russia and the CIS at MLC, and Mikhail Bogomolov, President of the Russian Diabetes Association, and confirmed the aspirations of both parties to achieving a shared goal: making diabetes control technologies accessible, reliable and widespread.
The Russian Diabetes Association is the largest public organization representing the interests of people with diabetes throughout the country. Its goals include:
• patient support,
• funding of scientific research,
• raising awareness about diabetes and associated complications.
Mikhail Bogomolov, President of the RDA: "The Association sees its mission as facilitating the implementation of the best global practices and technologies for diabetes control."
At the initiative of the Russian Diabetes Association, the period from November 14, 2025 to November 13, 2026 has been declared the year of Improving Systems and Methods of Diabetes Self-Management.
In this regard, strategic cooperation and joint expertise of MLC and the largest diabetes organization in Russia will ensure the availability and effective use of innovative methods of diabetes self-management for millions of Russian citizens.
