We continue to work on implementing the MLC project. In solving the tasks we are faced with, we cooperate with experienced specialists from the fields we need.
One of the teams we have met and are negotiating with is the staff of the Microelectronics Design Centre established at the Institute of Electronic and Information Systems.
The Institute of Electronic and Information Systems is part of the Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University, which is engaged in educational, research, scientific and production activities. The University is continuously engaged in developing electronic components and devices for various applications.
At the meeting we talked to the director of the Institute V.A. Shultsev, heads of research and development departments. We familiarised ourselves with the equipment of the laboratories and production sites. It should be noted that the University gets considerable state financial support, a new campus is being built, premises are being equipped, modern equipment for various purposes is being purchased and continuous training of specialists is being carried out.
In order to perform a number of studies and experiments, it is necessary to employ a variety of technologies and tools. By cooperating with the Institute, we will be able to utilise their capacities in implementing our tasks at the development stage.
Based on the results of the meeting, we gave high appreciation to all the opportunities, extensive scientific base and expertise of the staff in the issues under discussion. We are currently negotiating and considering areas of commercial cooperation with the Institute.
