Sensor production for the CGM system by MLC

The sensor for MLC's CGM consists of a printed circuit board and a molding. The printed circuit board has been designed from scratch by the company's engineers: the routing and component selection were done, and an original connector for the electrode was developed. The technology for encapsulating the board into the molding was also thoroughly developed.

The CGM system's printed circuit board is the electronic mechanism that takes readings from the biosensor developed by MLC.

The printed circuit board has firmware developed by the company's IT specialists.
It is the board that processes the biosensor signals, recalculates them using a unique mathematical model, and transmits the data to a mobile device.

The board undergoes a multi‑stage encapsulation into the molding, which ensures the sensor's moisture resistance.

The sensor has a power source that is activated after being placed on the human body.
To ensure stability and reliable operation of the sensor throughout its entire service life and warranty storage period, a system for disconnecting the power supply using a magnet has been incorporated into the device.

Additionally, the system for preserving the device's battery charge has been integrated into all technological processes and shipping trays.

At each production stage of the printed circuit boards, robotic systems with machine vision are used to detect possible defects and minimize flaws.

The production of printed circuit boards and molding for the CGM system involves numerous operational stages and full control at every step. That is how reliability you can trust is born.
